Background and Qualifications of the Founder

I've been involved in this online, interactive medium since the first days of the "World Wide Web", and have contributed my experience to dozens of companies including Microsoft, GO.com (Disney / Infoseek), Intuit, Sun, Cisco, Oracle, IBM, XEROX, Anderson Consulting, Netscape, Apple, AOL, Adobe, Hewlett Packard, SAS, Palm, Nortel, Novell, SGi, SAP and Agilent.

Before operating my own design firm exclusively, I was the Creative & Web Production Director at Fatbrain.com (formerly Computer Literacy) - the third largest reseller of books online. I was credited with increasing Fatbrain's site traffic, online sales, and corporate account revenues by a factor of five - in just over one year.

I was also a key member of the development team for "eMatter" (now "MightyWords.com") - the first online, self-publishing product which allows established and aspiring authors to publish, catalogue and sell their works in secure digital and  downloadable formats.

I was the first Web Producer for the entire Business Division of Intuit (makers of Quicken, QuickBooks, TurboTax and more), and developed virtually all of their subscription, product, support, testing, public and intranet Web sites.

Other experiences include technical writing and editorial roles, product marketing, program management, strategic and business planning, and highly successful Business-to-Business product development.
